MGMT proven one of the biggest draws on the NME/Radio 1 stage at the Leeds Festival today (August 23).
The New York duo were in impressive form, performing a selection of songs from their 'Oracular Spectacular' album to a collapsible shelter that was packed-out with fans correct to the edges and beyond.
The band opened their set with a selection of their more prog-leaning tracks, ahead inspiring unwarranted scenes with fan-favourites 'The Handshake' and 'Time To Pretend'.
"Leeds is cool, huh?" singer Andrew VanWyngarden asked the crowd as the band took to the stage.
He subsequently ordered fans to make moving during set-highlight 'Electric Feel'. "You're gonna have to dance to this one," he told the crowd.
After a triumphant 'Kids' the crowd started loud chants of the song's synth hook which carried on long after the band left field the stage.
